For me, it was this picture on the cover of The Wrestler at a mom and pop store going to visit my grandparents as a kid. Loved it, for the most part, ever since.

The Road Warriors got me started. When I was a kid I was watching a wrestling tape with my cousin and here come two just huge men with wicked face paint to the ring. They beat the tar out of a couple jobbers. It was the greatest thing I saw.

My Dad used to take me to MSG house shows when I was 3 years old. I don't recall them really but I have been watching for as long as I could remember.

My parents would use it to keep me quiet as a kid, but I won't lie, it was the Hulkster that kept me hooked. He was a freaking superhero to me as a kid. Him and Savage could do no wrong, until Savage betrayed him.
I've been a fan since, through the bad and the good, all the ups and downs. So much to go through. I only really started watching WCW in the 90s because of Nitro. I never even knew of WCW Saturday Night even thought it was on TBS, a channel I've had for a decade at that point. Why, even with all the ish that goes on, I'm still a loyal WWE follower.

I think it was Hulk Hogan that got me into wrestling back in the day too. Watched his movies also, like Suburban Commando, Mr. Nanny, and a submarine movie or show, can't quite remember. Still, I was never that much into wrestling. Haven't watched any matches since middle school, as sporadic watching wrestling was for me then. Don't mind reading about the stuff though or watching documentaries on the subject.
