Rumor has it this is replacing the Spinner. "To update this situation, we can report that Rick Petko from Orange County Choppers, which is featured on The Discovery Channel's American Chopper television series, is helping with the creation of the belt. He tweeted on Wednesday afternoon that he is currently, "Annealing aluminum for a WWE Championship belt." belttalk.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9114&start=620If that belt is as big as it looks, I guess aluminum makes sense. I've heard the real Spinner is around 20-25 pounds, and this thing looks twice that size. I guess ROH is the only place left that believes the belt should look good and classy for it's titleholders.

It's not pretty, but then again it's not a finished product either. I'll wait until I see the finalized version, but so far, this isn't looking that good.

The pic of the gold plate was leaked a while back by a WWE employee, leading many to think that they would scrap it and go with another design that hadn't been seen. Guess not. I can at least see the marketing value of the spinner, being that WWE is PG 13 and plays to kids, and they buy the crap out of that thing. I don't understand this one. Just a huge main plate with the fed letters on it. Guess Vince wants everyone to be sure what they're watching.

We can only hope this actually does get scrapped and they go with something better. It's not just ugly, it's also painfully boring and plain.

Dave, WWE is PG. No 13 in there whatsoever. We back to 1991! Who's that in the distance! Why, I do believe that's Doink the Clown, making his way to the ring!
Oops, my bad, that's John Cena.

I hope when Linda get's smoked in the election this time, she gives it up and we can back to at least some blood in the WWE. A lot of people aren't a fan of blood in wrestling, but to me it really helps sell the big match ups even more. Adds an air of believability to it for me.

Yeah, but at one point blood became a crutch. I do agree, some matches would benefit from some blood, to show the intensity of the feud and how far they'd go to win the match. But there are a lot of times where blood is used just for the sake of blood, or to cover up for not being able to hold their own, like Flair in ALL of his TNA matches.

I think at this point a little blood wouldn't hurt. It's kinda hard to buy how brutal a cage match is without any blood.

I think at this point a little blood wouldn't hurt. It's kinda hard to buy how brutal a cage match is without any blood. That's the kind of situation I was thinking of. That, or when someone turns on someone else, a little blood could sell it more. Never forget the big red X over the screen when Hogan bloodied Andre in that arm wrestling match or when Albano turned on Snuka and he and Ray Stevens tore him up. You'd just get glimpses of the blood around the X, but man it sold it. Not to mention that the X itself made you think he must really be a mess.

Yeah, but if you draw blood I want to see it, not see it censored. A reason I don't buy WWE dvds anymore, the blood matches, from what I've read, gets censored by making the screen black and white. When I watch a match, I want its integrity upheld, and see the complete, uncensored match.

I knew the red X was gone, didn't know they did the black and white thing on the DVDs. That's BS. If anything the people that pay for the DVDs should get the whole 9 yards.

Wow. What's the point of that? I know the current era is PG, but that shouldn't effect releases of past material. I'd definitely get a refund if I ever got a DVD like that.

An example of the X on WWF tv back in the day. Plus a great freaking watch. They set this angle up so well, and played it out for so long, when it went down I almost lost my mind. Great stuff.
