Man, that is a belt I regret not buying from a friend back in HS. It even had a Ric Flair nameplate on it. I would love to have that right now on display.

I have the first one that came out in 99. Really thin plates, terrible strap...but sentimental to me because this was my first belt. So, I keep it. Wouldn't be worth much on E-bay now anyway. Maybe I'll just make them a fancy set of NWA book ends, lol.

There you go. Slap your wrestling tapes/dvds between them.

Probably be a gargoyle or two in the middle, but that works too. Most people think I'm nuts anyway, so that wouldn't be a problem.

And now the 20 lbs of gold, or some sort of gold colored plating...

Jealous. Those are my two favorite championship belts.

I've had the WCW one since 99 I think. It was when they first offered it. When I got it, it was flat as a board. Wasn't until years later that I realized I could bend or "curve" the main plate with out damaging it.
The newest one is the NWA version done by Premier. I had the Fig Incs one but ended up selling it, just didn't look right and not nearly as nice as the Premier one. I knew the Premier one was coming a few years ago so sold my old one and made really good money on it.
Finally got around to buying this one, and after initially not liking it and wishing I hadn't bought it, now I really like it. Probably my two favorite NWA belts. My fave of all time is the old red IC belt that a certain someone was supposed to make for me, but I guess that's never gonna happen. Hope he chokes on the $700.

Just letting you know now, if you ever sell that big gold belt, you know who's gonna buy it.

You don't want the one I have Scott. It's the first one put out and the ones today are much better quality. Only reason I keep it is because of it's sentimental value. You can find them on Ebay for less than I paid for this one in 99.

For those that haven't asked, here is my favorite belt of all time...and one that I will own one day. Closest I've ever seen to it, except for the J-Mar pic, and unless you're WWE he won't do belts for you anymore. That copy is way too far off of the real one for me.

That center plate looks nothing like the original.

Side plates are pretty on point though. But, yeah...the main plate ruins it for me.
