I have no idea why they're not loading. I tried a few things in your post, and nothing doing. I can't see them unless I load them from the address.
Posted the links at least for people to do the same.

Oh man, Bane's screwed there. He should go back to trying to break the Bat, because he will never survive the Madness.

Even with his runs in the WWF and WCW, I always thought he could have been used better. Good initial run in the WWF with the IC title then the main belt, but after that, crap. His WCW run sucked to me as well.

If your name wasn't Hulk Hogan or Kevin Nash, your WCW run was more than likely to suck.

I can't agree with the WWE thoughts, Dave. His run there from top to bottom was rife with amazing feuds and classic matches.
His IC title run lead to a classic match with Steamboat, arguably the best match in WM history. The next year he won the world title in a series of matches and proved he was a pure main eventer. The year following had him build a relationship with Hulk Hogan that had so much emotion in it their breakup and eventual match is a storyline still talked about to this day. While his initial run as the Macho King was lackluster, how he went out, in an epic match with, of all people, the Ultimate Warrior and lead to one of the most glorious reunions in wrestling's storybook. And then the return and, plain and simple, classic match with Ric Flair for the belt, for Elizabeth, for it all. While his waning years were less than stellar, the overall bulk of his WWE career was amazing and lead to 4 of the top 5 WM matches in it's storied history.
Savage vs Steamboat WMIII Savage vs Hogan WMV Savage vs Warrior WMVII Savage vs Flair WMVIII
Those alone, I feel, are reason enough to say his WWE career was a successful one. WCW, yeah, he got screwed there big time. Shame he burned his bridges with WWE, he could have made a comeback during the attitude era and still been relevant, I feel.

Anytime someone got "The King" moniker on them, I stopped watching. May have been good matches here and there, but it was ridiculous. Stuff like that was why people turned to WCW, for serious wrestling...if there is such a thing in a worked sport. Then it seemed WCW and WWF were trying to out do each other in the stupid gimmick department.
Hated WCW towards the end and actually started liking WWF again. Savage and Steamboats match at WMIII is one of my all time favorites, just couldn't get past the "Macho King" gimmick. Felt it took a really talented wrestler and made him look like a fool. Same with Race and his run as "The King".

Macho King wasn't that bad. Silly, but his relationship with Sherri Martel was what sold it the most. Especially at the end with his feud with Warrior. But he was only King for a short span (what, 18 months)? You can't discount his whole WWE career for only a part of it.

Not discounting his WWF run. Just think the King thing marred it. He proved he could wrestle and for long matches, and this is the bone they throw him?
Why I said in my original post he was under used. He could have been right there with Hogan.

I think for Savage, it was to keep him prominent while not having a title, since he was far past the IC title, and the WHC was being occupied by Hogan/Warrior/Slaughter.

Slaughter lucked into that one. At that point he sucked, but the Iraq thing payed off.

He became the biggest villain ever at that time. It was a well played move, and he lived it up to the fullest.
