In the world of VHS collecting alot of collectors are into collecting just certain video companies. In the Hey day of the VHS boom many large and small companies were competing to get people to buy and rent their films by having the coolest covers out there to grab your eye so we were treated to alot of really cool vhs covers. Which companies do you remember or that you like to collect. For me right now I am really into Vestrons, Thrillers and CBS fox Boxes cuz there are so man ya and they are easy to get. Media was one of the giants of the day originally named MEDA released seriously 10000's of titles in the 70-90s including the friday the 13th series as well as the first halloween release. Wizard had some awesome releases such as Zombie, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and I spit on your grave. Amazing art work and some pretty cool titles that were never available. Vestron was another giant like Media starring up in the early 80's releasing again 10000's of titles eventually growing to release hits like dirty dancing and platoon. I believe they some how are owned by lionsgate today. Mutilator and Re-Animator come to mind right now with their great covers. There are so many labels out there ill probably get around to doing a part 2 soon enough. Stay tuned.

I was going to say Wizard myself. They had the most awesome big boxes and put out some really great horror films like all the ones by H.G. Lewis.
Cannon was another one I really liked. They would always put out a bunch of really cool straight to video action movies.

Oh you're right. Didn't Wizard put out some H.G. stuff as well though? Either way, Wizard still had awesome boxes and so did Midnight.
Gorgon was another really cool one as well. Plus their logo is really great as well.

Oh man, that Vestron Video intro brought back a lot of memories. Remember many a Friday night heading to the video store to pick up a movie to watch with the kids while the wife was at work. Good stuff.
