Always liked this movie. I like how it's not a happy ending, and for all the harm done by everyone to everyone, nobody wins at all in the end. Good effects and a good, albeit sad, story.

This is actually one of the first Stephen King movies I've ever seen.

Can't remember the first one I ever saw. Probably Carrie or the made for TV Salem's Lot. That was more than likely it since the only way I could see them in the theater is if my older sister took me with her friends, and she rarely did that. She hated me, lol.

You need to jump on AMC's Fearfest man. They showed it like 3 times in 2 days.

I'm sure Netflix has it, so I'll check that out there. Tis the season for some Stephen King.

I remember seeing this and enjoying it a long time ago. It's been a long time since I watched anything Stephen King related.

I'd much rather watch his movies than read his books anymore. I hate to say that, but he's gone lame.

I honestly never read a Stephen King book. And it's not like I don't have several hanging around. I just never got into his work enough to do so. Then again, the only adaptions of his work I ever really enjoyed was the stuff Frank Darabont translated to film. All the other movies never really resonated with me enough for me to say, "Holy ish, I gotta read his books after that masterpiece of a movie!"

His books that became movies are great. For example, Pet Sematary is so much better than the movie, and I love the movie. It's just that his latest stuff is not so good to me. And by latest I mean from Insomnia on.
PU. Not all, but a lot.

I never read any either, but have enjoyed a fair few things that were movies and television series.

The only stories I want to read are The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption and The Mist because those are the movies I enjoy.
Although, I did find Pet Sematary to be an awesome movie, so I might be willing to give that a read.

Pet Semetary, the book, actually made me cry. That's how messed up Gage's death is. Actually, I think it was onions being chopped in the room, I don't get emotional over that stuff.
Poor Gage.
