"Set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray (Lily Collins), discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother (Lena Headey), Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures." www.upcominghorrormovies.com/movie/mortal-instruments-city-bones-0August, 2013

I like the idea they're going for, but the trailer didn't really get me too excited. I'll need another one before I decide if it's worth more of a look.

Seems interesting, but I'm getting kind of a tween vibe to it. Might be worth a rental.

I have nothing for this movie. Maybe that will change the more I see, but as of now, nah. Not for me.

I won't lie, it looks decent enough to warrant a rental.

I dunno, what I've seen so far has not been all that impressive.

It's not exactly blowing me away, but for some reason, there is something about it that makes me want to check it out.

Could be interesting, but I get a Twilight vibe from it and I won't pay films like that no mind.

I could go either way. Doesn't look terrible, but I don't know if it would grab me and keep me into it for the whole movie either. Not really my type of movie.

I do get a bit of that vibe, but at least it seems like our protagonist isn't some blank slate and stupid fool.

This was a series of books that my girlfriend read, and she is looking forward to the movie. It does have a tween feel to it, because the books were YA (young adult) but they are WAY better than the Twilight series according to the wifey. If I get dragged to this, I'll let you guys know if it's any good.
