Anyone remember this? It was a late 80's show that had Robert England as Freddy Krueger hosting it. Same format as The Twilight Zone or other shows like that. From what I remember, the episodes were really dark and morbid. Was just checking some stuff online today and a clip for this popped up. Been a long time, but I used to love this show. It seemed like as soon as I found it, it got canceled. I only saw a handful of episodes, but I liked them all. Gonna see if I can track down the series online somewhere.

I want this on dvd just because it would be that final piece to the Freddy Krueger collection. It only makes sense to have this out there.
The Friday the 13th series has been collected, why not this?

I found every episode last night, but, I agree. It would be really cool to have an official box set type thing of this. I haven't watched any yet, but from what I remember it was really good. Glad I found them.

The NoES blu-ray set has 2 episodes on it, and they play it on Chiller as well. Other than that, I don't know too much about it.
The series got cancelled very quickly and even the people who worked on it didn't enjoy it very much, so I don't know if it ever will be collected in a set.

Ah, I didn't know that. Maybe that's why it always had such an ominous vibe, everyone hated it, lol. Still, cool to have them, just to have.

The main problem was that they really didn't give them any budget to work with and rushed the schedule to churn them out, so they kinda just threw whatever out there and hoped for the best. If you watch the Never Sleep Again documentary, it goes full into detail about it.

I don't think I have the documentary, unless it's somewhere on my NOES 1-4 set.

It came out about 3 or so years ago. 4 hour long documentary that goes into AMAZING detail about every single film, the t.v. series, and Freddy in pop culture. You should definitely check it out.

It's called Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy. It's absolutely fantastic. They get all the directors, a lot of the stars, people who did the effects, everything.

Man, the more you talk about it the more I think this was on like IFC or AMC a while back. I seem to remember something like this. Had actors from all the films in it? Like the roach motel girl going over her scene and all? Yeah, I need to own this.

I remember posting about it in the Trailers section.
Yep, from every single one. Going over how they did the effects, how Robert Englund ad-libbed a lot of the now famous quotes and more.

We have a thread about it somewhere. Amazon has it for a decent price. Thinking of picking it up next month, along with the Blu-Ray set. I really want that BD set.

I thought this sounded familiar. Got em all now, now just have to convert them. I'll post an episode when done.
