According to WWE.com, yes he is! www.wwe.com/classics/wwe-hall-of-fame/bruno-sammartino-announcement-26089325I honestly never thought I'd see this day until long after Sammartino's death. The man personified wrestling in the tri-state area. You think wrestling, people still think Sammartino. It feels good to read this. It really does. I am finding this to be on the best HoF classes in years. A true series of rightful HoF inductees this year with Backlund, Sammartino, Foley and Stratus. Screw WrestleMania, I want to go to this!

I read this on Kayfabe Memories, and am really glad to see it happen. Can't wait to hear the rant Superstar Graham is going to let loose on this one, lol. He's such a bitter dickhead.
Oh, and that pic is awesome. That belt man, that was what my dreams were made of when I was a kid.

Maybe he'll finally shut up and just accept it. Shame, I think a lot of his misery also stems from how sick he is. He's just angry in general and uses the WWE as an outlet to make himself feel better.

He's such an ass though. I mean, why accept the HOF induction if he's just going to turn around and sell his ring on E-bay? Didn't seem like it was a money thing, maybe it was and he covered it well. I don't know. Thing is, after his WWWF title run he had serious rep. Every promoter out there saw how over he was as a heel, he could have been huge. Instead, he got mad and drank and drugged it all away.
On topic though, good to see Backlund get in as well. Surprised he's not there already. Cool to see him and Bruno go in together though.

He's bitter over how he shitted up his life and has to blame someone. Can't blame himself. He's also pissed WWE stopped paying him to, well, be alive.
Yeah. It's awesome to see both Bruno and Backlund go in in NYC, where they might very well be best known.

Only one missing is Pedro Morales...or is he already in?

Pedro's in. Probably went in in the mid 90s when there was no pomp and circumstance surrounding the Hall. Savage needs to go in, so does the likes of Rick Rude, Jake Roberts and Big Bossman.

Wow, Savage isn't in? Yeah, he needs to go. How bout Hennig, he should be there too if he isn't already.

Mr. Perfect went in a few years ago. Savage hasn't gone in for 2 reasons. 1 was that longstanding hatred Vince had for him. They finally got over that and started a new relationship a year before Savage died. And now he's not going in because Savage wanted the Poffo family to go in and Lanny is sticking to that.
I think WWE should just induct the whole family as a way to get Savage, the last man that truly deserves to be in out of all that was never inducted. Just do it, for next year. Make him your headliner. I want to see Lanny Poffo's poem to accept the plaque on his father's and brother's behalf!

That would be awesome, in full Genius persona.
Man, those are really good pics of Bruno. Freaking Andre was huge.

Leaping Lanny would make an awesome inductee. Koko B. Ware is in there. Johnny Rodz is in there. Lanny Poffo is not deserving? Hell, he was a manager people still remember in a time when there were a lot of managers around. He could have gotten lost in the shuffle, but the gimmick stuck out.
Andre was awesome, too.

I have to scratch my head at Koko being in, but the Poffo's aren't. Johnny Rodz I understand. He was the enhancement talent for the stars back on Saturday mornings. Heck, SD Jones and Domenic DeNucci are just a couple of names that come to mind that should be in if they aren't. But Koko? Hard to justify him over a lot of other guys, unless they were just filling a spot that year.

I heard Koko was a great midcarder in other feds before becoming a joke in WWF. Nonetheless, I was a fan of his, and he was memorable, so him going in as filler is not a bad thing. He's be the only wrestler to question, but going through the Hall members before, it looks really good. If they ever make a physical Hall, it would look glorious.

That video was awesome. Really cool. I'm really happy he's going in, glad they got all the bad stuff squared away.
