I'd love to have this book. So many of wrestling's best ever held this title and went on to become mega stars in the business. Some even held the title after they already were huge stars. It was even nicknamed "the stepping stone to the NWA title", though only Harley Race, Ric Flair, Kerry Von Erich and Terry Funk actually won the NWA title after winning the Missouri Championship. Dory Funk Jr. and Gene Kiniski had already held the NWA title when they won the Missouri belt. Still, one of the most prestigious belts ever in the NWA. Really love to have this. www.admiralent.net/strap.html

Lol. It's definitely unique looking. I love the looks of it, but I can see why a lot don't. I was trying to find a picture of Bob Backlund with it, but I can't seem to find a good one. Funny, they were actually grooming Backlund for an NWA title run when he was snatched up by Vince Sr...or so legend has it.

Beer Championship? It'll be an amazing bout between James Storm and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is your Introducing first, to my left, the challenger, coming off a 12 hour binder, the Tennessee Cowboy James Storm! And to my right, weighing in at a beer gutted 313 pounds, hailing from the kitchen where he just beat his wife, Stone Cold Steve Austin!
LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET'S GET READY TO GET DRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNK!

Do you think if Austin dies of alcohol poisoning first, Cowboy will smile and say "Sorry, about your damn luck?"

Ridiculous as the belt looks to some, it's a big piece of history to me, so this book would be cool to have. You have to remember the belt was made in the 70's and done away with in in the early 80's.
Still, they could have picked a better design, lol. But, some greats wore it proudly, good enough for me.

I don't think it looks ridiculous. It certainly does have its charm.

So you're saying a drunk made this title?

I'm saying that's a very good possibility given the color scheme on this one, lol.

I actually think its a cool and unique looking belt. If it's good enough for the Funks, it's good by me.

It's fine, if your fed is funded by Budweiser.
