Not the newer one with Nicolas Cage, although I do like that one as well. But, this is the original from 1973 with Christopher Lee, Edward Woodward, Britt Ekland, and the late great Ingrid Pitt.
Great atmospheric horror story that really draws you in. Like I said, I like the re-make too, but this one just rules!

this film is great.. though I do get a bit frustrated with edward woodward and want to hit him over the head with a large object and tell him to stop being so thick! The ending bothered me though as I said in the disturbing movie scene section.
Have nt seen the new one. Might have to check it out.

According to Christopher Lee, it's the best movie he ever made. Apparently he never got paid for doing the movie either...his choice. I agree Queenfreaky, the ending was very disturbing! More Wickerman trivia: www.wicker-man.com/trivia.php

Ah, Nicolas Cage...kinda out there, but I like a lot of his work. I liked him in the re-make, but I still prefer the original. And yeah Tony, he get's all kinds of on fire, lol.
