Truth Martini, right? I like how much of a douche he is, but only when he's outside the ring. On the mic, I'm not a huge fan.

Plus who doesn't enjoy The Book of Truth?

That's the guy. I hate him, so I guess he's doing his job. I just change the channel when he's on, then come back and hope he's gone.

I found him kind of amusing. Always enjoyed seeing him get hit.

I want his hat, so I can pull my hair through the top of it and wear it at work,

I tried to watch it last night and the channel it was on was screwing up so bad I couldn't watch it. I ended up getting mad and going to bed. A lot of the HD channels have been unwatchable lately, and couple that with the fact that our cable bill has jumped to just over $200 with no movie channels at all, even more reason to ditch Comcast and give Roku a shot. It helps my case for it anyway.

Over $200 with not a single movie channel? You are being robbed good sir!

That's what I'm trying to tell my wife. We have phone and internet too, but my sister has Verizon and has phone, internet and every movie channel there is for around $230 a month. We're getting it stuck to us.

That's insane. You're paying damn near the same thing for less than half of what your sister has. If that's not outright robbery, I don't know what is.

I can't fathom how a bill could be that expensive. I'm pissed my bill is 100 bucks!

For $209 a month we could get HBO, Shotime, Cinemax and Starz plus everything we already have. May as well go that route until I can talk her into Roku. What's $8 more? At least we'd be getting movie channels.

Who needs movie channels when you have Netflix?

I don't know what to do anymore to convince my wife to drop cable. She wants the DVR, and she wants her shows. So, I'm thinking drop to basic cable, but the price doesn't change enough to make a big difference.
I'd be fine with dropping cable TV and the phone all together. Go to the fastest tier of the internet they offer, and pay $99 once for the Roku. Then, subscribe to Hulu plus, and switch to Netflix streaming.
Our monthly bill drops to about $75. Hulu+ has the shows she wants, Netflix has the movies. No need for a DVR, it's basically all on demand. Now, how do I sell her on this?

The way you laid it out sounds fine to me. I really don't see how dropping your bill down from $200 to $75 isn't convincing enough.
