Supposed to be released in 2011, yet no word on who's directing or any of the cast. We'll have to wait and see what happens with this one. I think it could be done much better than the ABC mini-series was, especially if it's going to the big screen. From www.upcominghorrormovies.com"Follows a group of kids called the "Losers Club" that encounter a creature called It, which preys on children and whose favorite form is that of a sadistic clown called Pennywise. When the creature resurfaces, the kids are called upon to regroup again, this time as adults, even though they have no memory of the first battle."

I'd really like to see it closer to the book. I've read it several times. If the movie was just like the book it'd be awesome

To be honest, I thought the mini series followed the book pretty well, I'd just like to see more of the scary stuff the kids experienced in the book. And, a better ending than the mini series. The ending of that, and the book were kinda stretching it, IMO.

This is one film I wont be watching. Im the worlds biggest coulrophobic, and this is the main reason why. The mini -series was bad enough. Ive heard this one is goning to get an r rating so they can add more gore? seriously I dont think the film needs any gore (yes this is me the gore queen saying this), but the film is effective enough without needing any of that. I suppose tim curry has nt had an invitation to casting? as much as I hate the character of pennywise, nobody could pull it off like tim curry

Aww. No Bozo? Or even Ronald McDonald? Oh well, Kramer on Seinfeld was afraid of clowns too, so you're in good company. I don't know who could top Curry as Pennywise. Just like in the Nightmare on Elm Street remake, I thought Robert Englund crushed Hailey as Freddy. Gonna be tough to find someone who can pull off Pennywise better than Curry did. BTW, don't know if he was contacted or not. I doubt they'd want the same guy in the role, but who knows?

I think he should do it, like u say nobody could pull it off better, he made that role, and indeed the film. apparantly even the child actors on set were afraid of him as he stayed in character even when not filming. I doubt this movie will be anything like the first

i enjoyed the mini series. the book was an awesome read. the film, yeah, it was good. the re-make, who knows ? but i'll go and watch it. they could make a good film with some of the special effects that they do nowadays.

That looks great Tony. Wish I could do stuff like that. I think my lack of patience is the big thing.
