New details added for this, which now has no release date. Cary Fukunaga (Sin Nombre, Jane Eyre) directs and co-writes The film will reportedly be split into two full length features It's said that they're aiming for an R rating It's said that the film will primarily be set in "present day" No word on who will be playing the devious clown "It" At one point Dave Kajganich (Invasion, Creek) was hired to script Warner Bros. is teaming up with Lin Pictures and Vertigo Entertainment Based on the best-selling Stephen King book published in 1986, which was then turned into an ABC miniseries in 1990 www.upcominghorrormovies.com/movie/itI know it's a remake of the mini series and they want a fresh cast, but I'd really love to see Tim Curry back as Pennywise. The guy owned that role.

All we can do is hope for the best. A few of the latest remakes have been fairly enjoyable.
