Tick Tock Die-ner

Nothing special, but I thought I'd post because Tomas and I would frequent the Manhattan Tick Tock after ROH shows several times a year, and that place was horrible. Hard to believe the Jersey location got a spot on Diners, Dirve-Ins and Dives. Where was the quality in Manhattan?

Wow. Did you guys ever see or talk to the uncle in the Manhattan diner? That's nuts. Always hear about these people getting popped soliciting undercover officers to get rid of someone for them.

I never have. That would be a cool spot to hit up though.

I can't see the food at Tick Tock being good enough to be on TV. That Jersey spot must be a hell of a lot better than Manhattan.

I love DDD, but a lot of the joints they visit are based on mail they get telling them you should check out such and such...
Maybe this place has a lot of supporters...Chick and Ruth's Deli in Annapolis has been on DDD and Man vs. Food, and I wouldn't call the food anything special.
They have a decent milkshake and burger, but basically people pay for the kitsch. Having sandwiches named after politicians goes a long way with the Naval Academy being right there.
