Watching this right now on Fear Net. I forgot how cheesy, but at the same time how good this film is. I love William Castle movies. He definitely put his mark on them.

This was a fun one. Attack of the Killer Lobster-roach Thing. Not bad for a movie from, what, 1959?

I've owned this movie for about 2 years and still have yet to watch it. I should get on it soon.

William Castle was a...special director. He actually had vibration motors put in theater seats for this movie. So when the Tingler showed up, the seats went nuts. Scared the crap out of people, lol. He was awesome.

I wish we had cool gimmicks like that now. It would actually make theaters worth going to again.

You should check out Mr. Sardonicus. Another Castle flick, and at the end he takes votes on whether to punish the main villain more. Of course he gets it.

Yeah, I wish I was around to experience Emergo and Percepto. Reading some of his gimmicks, they look like they would have been a hell of a good time.

Castle was already a good director, but his off kilter stuff is what made him. Fans loved to see the next Catle flick, just to see what would happen. Great gimmick, especially back then.
