I love how most of that arm is practical. And they got the star! I don't need the domino mask, the full mask is a great look.

Definitely the movie I'm looking forward to the most next year.

This and GotG are such highly anticipated films for me. I just can't friggin' wait to see these 2. Especially these 2, because I love the source material so much.

So he's Captain's enemy apparently, but what's his deal? Also, why does Captain America not wear a costume much?

Sure, you can spoil it for me. I'm really liking these super hero movies, so I'm really interested.

The Winter Soldier is Bucky, Cap's former sidekick (less so in the movie). In the comic, Cap and Bucky tracked Baron Zemo to his private island to stop him from launching a rocket. Buck and Cap ride the rocket, and disable it. Cap jumps off, but Bucky couldn't, he was stuck to it, and it blew. Cap was knocked unconscious, and was eventually put into a type of suspended animation, in a block of ice, until found by the Avengers. Bucky was fished out of the ocean by a Russian submarine, missing his right arm, seemingly dead. He was revived, but had no memories. The Russians then rebuilt his arm, rebuilt his mind, and made him into their super assassin, having him kill for them since the 1950s, putting him in literal cold storage between assignments. He was romantically involved with Black Widow. He was awaken by a Russian who was sharing a mind with the Red Skull, to create chaos. Cap learned he was Bucky, and after a series of events, Cap used the Cosmic Cube (tesseract in the movies) to give him back his memory. After Cap "died", Bucky took the mantle of Captain America, because long live the dream.
As convoluted as that might sound, it's some of the best superhero/espionage stories written in the last 30 years, and it came from a comic.
The movie is using the comic as an idea started, but according to Ed Brubaker, who wrote the comics that infamously brought back Bucky and killed Captain America, says it's deviating from the source material into its own story. Me gusta.

While that sounds confusing, it sounds like it would be a great watch. I bet that was great to read issue to issue.

Oh, I read it in one clump. I read it over and over in one clump. Because of this collection. Wish I had the rest of the BuckyCap books, but I was waiting for an omnibus that was never released (or announced, I was just hoping).

That's an awesome collection. The Captain America there is what I keep expecting to see, but it doesn't happen often.

I like the movie costume. Looks like it got another update and incorporates some of his time as Steve Rogers: Super Soldier uniform. I like that idea.

Well, Scott pretty much covered everything you need to know. Damn fine reads, and I'm sure this is gonna be a damn fine film.
