I don't even have a BD player yet and I'm doing a happy dance over here! This is gonna be great. "Professor Henry Jarrod (Price) is the owner and figure sculptor in a wax museum whose specialty is historic figures. When he and his business partner, Matthew Burke (Roy Roberts) quarrel over the choice of exhibits displayed, Burke suggests it would be more profitable to burn down the museum in order to obtain the insurance money. As they fight, the museum burns and Jarrod is left for dead. It’s not until much later at a new museum that the fate of Jarrod and the mystery of how the lifelike waxed figures are created becomes gruesomely evident" linkAvailable October 1st. One of my favorite Price movies, great to see this getting the BD treatment. I envy you guys that have Blu-ray players.

I'm ashamed that I haven't seen this yet.

I saw and enjoyed the remake. But Paris Hilton did die in it, so...

I saw the remake as well and thought it was horrible.

Pretty much two completely different movies. I'm positive both of you would really like the original.

Anything with Paris Hilton is automatically bad for me. I admit I saw it with my girlfriend at the time, and was hoping to enjoy seeing Paris die. Her death was not as satisfying as I had hoped.

I don't hate that movie, I've actually seen it several times when it's been on late at night. I always enjoy Paris Hilton dying, lol. I thought it got pretty brutal towards the end for Cuthberts character.
But this one is only related to the original by name. The first one is a blast.

Nice Vincent Price flick. Perhaps the best version I've seen of this story. The 3D isn't much, but most 3D movies aren't.
The reveal is particularly great here though.
Price is always fun to watch.
