As a child of the 70's, a lot of that brought back good memories, especially of Saturday morning. Kids today have no idea how much better Saturday mornings were back then, I lived for them.

Made me well up instantly because of the song. To me, even when I read the odd Supes book, I hum that theme. It personifies Superman to me. It is Superman. The Max Fliesher animation, the George Reeves and Christopher Reeves tributes, Superfriends, Muhammad Ali, Kingdom Come (which is one of the greatest books ever), Superman: The Animated Series, it was a lovely series of images.
Zack Snyder and Bruce Timm made me even care about Supes here.

Makes me want to see some more of those DC animated films. Most of them, from the books they adapted, are pretty good. I really wish they adapted the Death of Superman better. Superman: Doomsday sucked in comparison to the book, and even that was iffy at best.
Now, when the hell am I getting Justice and Kingdom Come adaptions?!
