I was given a DVD copy of Man of Steel from a co-worker and on it was this short. Watching it again made me reevaluate how I feel about the Big Red S. Now, I think it's not that I don't like Superman, but rather I don't like how he's written. He's usually too overpowered and then you have to create something even more powerful than that, it's sickening sometimes. I think the post Infinite Crisis Supes was the best there was, and once they brought him back from "death" is when he started to spiral out of control again.
The few Supes books that I do own I cherish (some floppies even). But damn, every time the song hits, it gets to me. And to have this short on DVD in any fashion is just so cool to me. Even is Man of Steel blows a sloppy wet one this DVD is still worth keeping.
