I've noticed an ad here that was not within Proboards TOS. Basically, it was deceitful and made it appear that a plugin in the browser needed updating. When it was clicked to update it, it redirected to the product page which was a registry cleaner. It didn't hijack my browser or install anything on my PC, but an ad within Proboards terms of service cannot deceive you into clicking it, and this one did.
If you see an ad like this, whether it's the one I saw or another that you feel is deceptive, I'd really appreciate it if you would simply push control+alt+R on your keyboard. That way it's reported directly to Proboards. If they decide it's within TOS, then no harm. But if it isn't, they can remove it and it's all direct and handled.
I haven't seen the ad since I reported it, and haven't seen one like that before. But, just on the off chance another like it pops up, this protocol will get it resolved very quickly. Thanks.

Remember to help keep this board safe for everyone. If you see something that looks out of place, don't be afraid to bring it up here or text with Dave (endo) or myself. We want this place to feel like a safe haven, a home away from home (which I know a few of use feel like that already).

Gotta echo Scott here, we want this to be as friendly and comfortable a place as possible. If anyone has any issues feel free to contact any staff member or even make a post on the support board. We try to keep this place as free of issues as possible, and your input helps. So don't think twice if you see an issue needing attention.
