Retro gaming is so expensive now a days, I only buy games if they're dirt cheap. I don't own many old systems, my NES is finicky and works whenever the hell it wants, same with my SNES. Have a GameCube and about a couple months ago I bought an N64 (was itching to play GoldenEye, Diddy Kong Racing and F-ZERO X). And that's it.
I bought a modded XBOX 2 years ago that has every single NES, SNES, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, ATARI (ALL MODELS) COLECOVISION, NEOGEO POCKET, TURBOGRAFX-16 AND INTELLEVISION game. Yeah they're emulators, but meh. They're not that bad. And everything is located all on one system.

I keep wanting to mod my 360 so I can burn games but I'm afraid I'll ruin it. We have a Wii that I was going to try soft modding, but if I messed that up my wife would not be pleased. Of the two, I guess the 360 would be the least dangerous way to go...at least I'd only piss myself off that way if it went bad.

I found a working SNES complete in box a year ago. So now I have 2... does that count for anything?

I remember that and yes it does. The SNES is one of the best systems ever.

Wish I had more games for it. It is an amazing system.

Retro gaming isn't too tough on the Nintendo end of things. They update and re release lots of old games so you can either get them with better graphics or download them for cheap.

IF I had 100 grand, I think I'd find better things to spend it on. Having said that, I'm certainly not knocking the person that did buy that game. All in what your thing is I guess. I like wrestling belts and Super Bowl rings, so there ya go.

Comics. Comics and DVDs everywhere. That's what I'd do. Well, with half. The other half I'd split to store and invest.

I modded my wii to play almost every old system and just managed to get it running...SEGA CD games. It's not hard, it's just time consuming and it still plays wii games. Hell you could even get emulated copies of wii games to run on there. The only thing is you have to turn it on slightly differently when you want to run it in emulation mode. Startup in wii mode is as normal.

I'll get the guide I used, if I can't find the exact one I used I'll find watch a few and see which one makes the most sense and is the least complicated to follow.
