Funny games....oh where do I begin? It was terrible. The beginning did not seem so bad...but that quickly slid downhill. I did somehow manage to watch it all but I severely regret it.
And Deadly night. The first part was not too bad, they recently remade it and the remake was like most remakes...same storyline but with more blood and boobs. The second part of the original though was just awful...the acting was terrible (even for an old school horror film).
If you have not seen either of these I really recommend that you spare yourself.

Was that the original Funny Games or the remake? Just asking even though I believe it was the same director so it was damn near a shot for shot remake, thus making it a total waste of time.
Silent Night Deadly Night 2? You mean the clip show of the first? But it had Eric Freeman's awesome eyebrow action! Plus, it gave us this classic line:

Remake, I actually did not know that there was an older original (the video store only had the 2007 version). It was still a terrible movie...sad to know that the original was just as bad lol. My mistake it is actually called Silent night deadly night part 2. But just the same it was an awful sequel....I am sorry but I just cannot get past the cheesy-ness of Eric Freeman's acting haha. I suppose if you enjoy laughable horror films then it wouldn't be so bad.

I tried watching the remake as well, and I turned it off in less than 30 minutes. It really was awful.
I haven't yet seen Silent Night, Deadly Night part 2, though I do own it on VHS. I am fully aware of how cheesy the acting is, so when I eventually see it I'm fully prepared. What's most annoying is that 2/3 of the films run time is just clips of the first.
Also, considering the fact that Ricky was just a baby and wasn't present for 99% of the events, how can he describe them in such detail? Lastly, even though he does get revenge on Mother Superior, it's not at all satisfying considering she's played by a completely different actress.
All this considered, it's still better than Silent Night, Deadly Night 3 or 4.

Oh ya I get what you mean by clip show now...it was a very weak attempt at a sequel. They made a 3 and 4??? Good god how did they justify that?!

3 was the last to feature the Ricky character. It was an insanely boring film.
4 was their attempt to keep the name but turn the series into different stories about horrible things happening around Christmas time (basically what they tried to do with Halloween 3). It has something to do with a cult. It's also slow paced and boring. I almost fell asleep watching it.
And to finish it off, there's also Silent Night, Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker. I actually like this movie even if it is sort of cheesy.
