I ordered an indoor amplified HDTV antenna and it's awesome. Getting 41 over the air channels in HD, so that takes care of local news, broadcast shows and the football games. Got it cheap too because it was factory refurbished, but it looks and works fine.
After the next episode of The Walking Dead, turning in our cable box and done with it. I'll have to find some shows online, but most of what we watch we have between the Roku and the antenna. Can't wait!!

Turned in the cable box today. so we'll see how it goes. I think we'll be fine, tons of stuff to watch. The big thing for me was the games and they came in fine. Glad we did it. Now, just looking for a cheaper ISP.

I can't watch a lot of stuff on PC, just always other stuff to do online and I end up quitting whatever I'm watching. The setup we have with the Roku works great, haven't missed cable a bit.

Ah, nice. Roku was well worth the money, between that and online, no need at all for cable.

We still have the internet with Comcast, but my wife sweet talked the lady and she gave us the same speed we had for $40 a month. Even that lady told my wife, quietly, that there was so much to stream and watch online that most people don't need cable TV anymore. It was awesome.

Got our bill today and still credited $33 towards next month, so our bill will be about $11. Then goes to $48 a month for internet. And I'm still watching every show I love. Should have done this long ago.

It's awesome. I even found some Plex channels for the Food Network and HGTV so we're set. My wife lives on Hulu Plus, she was the one I was worried about missing cable. But, she hasn't at all. And this really helps right now money wise as well. I'll never go back.
