Welcome to the forum. We finally hosed out the fridge, so feel free to leave your leftovers in there. Don't expect them to stay there long, however.

Welcome to the forum. We finally hosed out the fridge, so feel free to leave your leftovers in there. Don't expect them to stay there long, however. 1. my leftovers might require the fridge to be hosed out once more, and 2. your profile pic is freaking cool.

zombozoWhat's Drawing Blood about? (And of course graphic novels count. The Crow isn't bad, either, imho). Man... Invader Zim. I haven't seen that since middle school.

Not a fan of the Crow GN (movie, on the other hand...). O'Barr's art style just really bothered me too much to read it through.

I've never seen the movie, but I liked the art style (most of the manga i read have similar styles). Too each their own, though. What's your favorite book? (or graphic novel, or comic book series, or manga)

zombozoWhat's Drawing Blood about? (And of course graphic novels count. The Crow isn't bad, either, imho). Man... Invader Zim. I haven't seen that since middle school. Drawing Blood is Poppy Z Brite's second novel, um, kinda difficult to summarize so I'll give you the wiki synopsis. It's kind of got a lot of gay sex in it, so it's not for everybody... but I liked it because it gets really fakking weird near the ending. basically they end up in a crazy universe inside Trevor's brain / the house itself & that's when the really weird ish starts happening. zombies, talking saxophone, etc. "Synopsis The novel concerns Trevor McGee, a comic book artist and sole survivor of a family murder-suicide, and Zachary Bosch, a bisexual hacker, and their arrival at McGee's old family home in Missing Mile, North Carolina, a fictional town featured in Brite's previous novel, Lost Souls." the wiki synopsis doesn't really do the book justice, but whatevs. online it always gets mixed reviews, but poppy z brite's fakking awesome if you wanna check out some of her work. cult following in the 90s. by the way! weird fact i just found out about : "When a man set himself on fire in the Los Angeles, California location of a commercial mailbox company, copies of this novel were saturated with the smell of burnt flesh. They were sold by book dealer Barry R. Levin as collectibles.[2]"

What's your favorite book? (or graphic novel, or comic book series, or manga) It's hard to narrow down to just one series or book. Daytripper, which has an amazing story and even more amazing art. Spider-Man's Maximum Carnage, which was a huge part of my childhood love for comics and collecting. Howard Mackie's Ghost Rider even moreso. Death of Superman, Steve Gerber's Man-Thing, Incredible Hercules, Y: The Last Man, the Walking Dead, Punisher Max (and yes, that includes the non-Ennis stories), Marvel Cosmic... I just tend to read a lot of comics and enjoy the hell out of them. If I really like it, I'll go out an buy it. Well, the HCs or trades of them.
