I'm thinking we'll have to do the same, in order to catch up. I just checked our DVR storage and I was pretty sure we had the episodes recorded, but we don't and they're not available On Demand anymore. $33 at Amazon... ahh, decisions, decisions. Probably gonna have to wait until after taxes.

Ah, the new season is coming up just around the corner. My boyfriend just said the other night that we need to catch up on this show soon... I need to set a reminder to watch it this weekend.

I still need to see the first season. Haven't watched any of Wayward Pines yet either, that needs to happen too.

That's why I love Hulu. I can binge watch season 1 on my days off, and then catch up gradually on season 2. I have to say though, not much horror on TV does much for me other than The Walking Dead. I quit watching Under the Dome and only saw one episode of the Scream TV show to be done with that. Not making any promises on this one, we'll see.

I actually just got into Under the Dome again recently, and after starting to watch episode 5 of season 2, the boyfriend apparently wanted to watch season 2 also, so I rewatched the first 3 episodes with him. I think it's interesting. I've never read the book though. I won't even be able to watch The Strain tonight He says he's only staying up long enough to watch the premiere of Ray Donovan, and since it's one of the shows that we watch together, I'd feel guilty if I stayed up to watch it afterwards without him. -sigh-

We watched the first two seasons of Under The Dome and I was not really into it anymore at that point. I tried the first episode of season 3 and just couldn't sit through it. The book is so much better, but of course it isn't a series.

The book is so much better, but of course it isn't a series. Yeah I thought it was only the one book. Did they actually finish the book in the first season? Or are they trying to draw it out so the show lasts longer? I think I need to read the book. Lol. _____________________________ Anyway, I really liked the premiere of The Strain! Too many commercials though... I was excited that it was scheduled for an hour and a half long, but it seemed like there was a commercial every 5 mins. So annoying. I was glad that we'd recorded it so we could just fast forward through all that. The ending was creepy, it's going to be interesting to see what direction they're going to take with this season. I got so happy when they started out the season with the scene of the story of Jusef Sardu, because I had just read that scene in the first book, that's how the book starts out.

I think Under the Dome has gotten so far away from the book at this point, that book itself may never actually be finished story wise in the show. The first season stuck closer to the book than season two did though. Glad you're liking The Strain, one of these days I'll get around to it. Been really into Wayward Pines lately.

That poster always freaks me out
I liked the series enough. Wasn't always great. The acting, especially from the child actor, was questionable at times, and the writing could have been stronger, but a show worth tuning into every week.
I think my favorite characters from this show are Abraham, Vasiliy, and Gus. Some great character arcs there.
Some episodes are bogged down by being a bit stale or even muddled. Overall, though, like I said, enjoyable.
I liked the finale.
Definitely loved seeing Samantha Mathis in this series. Always a plus.
If Guillermo del Toro's name is attached to something I will watch it.

I need to find this. I never finished Season 1 (following shows with a story got hard for me back then) and I would like to give this another go.
