I would like to see The Omega Man, just to get a feel for all three films based off the story.

The Omega Man was the one with Heston I think? It's not a bad movie, but not close enough to the story. Price's version was almost spot on.

Classic scene right there. I used to watch this movie as a kid just for this scene, lol.

Me too and I'm sure the fear I had of spiders as child was a direct result of watching that movie. That high pitched little voice just puts it over the top for me...Help meee, help meeeeee, go away, goooo awaaaaaaay! Hey now, there's a movie comparison - the original fly vs the remake with Jeff Goldblum, but that's a topic for another thread.

Remake, for me.
Geoffrey Rush is great as Price's stand-in. He chomps at the bit, so to speak.
Famke Janssen is great as his wife Evelyn.
The original is hokey and has that William Castle charm, but the remake is much more frightening to me. Although some of the effects don't hold up.
Still, I love that beginning in the remake. The one with the rollercoaster. Also, the remake introduced us to Marilyn Manson's version of "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)"
