Back in the day, if you really wanted to play a good video game, you had to go to the Arcade. Adventurers Inn's Video Arcade was were I became the reigning Queen of a game called Crossbow. Yes, I was into shooting a Crossbow to kill evil beings long before Daryl made it fashionable. LOL I had a good eye and I was really fast. Plus you get to know where the enemies are going to pop out when you play these types of games over and over so you really racked up big points fast. I loved how Crossbow started each time you plunked your quarters into the slot - you'd hear a nasty voice warning "You will die!" It was really funny when you got caught up in the moment and became so trigger happy you shot your own on screen friends who responded with a really annoyed "Owww!" Looks really dated now, but back in the day, this was the bomb...

Oh yeah, I did the arcade scene when I was younger. Never played Crossbow but I wasted a lot of quarters on Q-Bert, Tempest and Donkey Kong jr. among other games. My quarters never lasted long enough for me to get really good at any one game, but I really liked Tempest a lot.
Doesn't look like anything special today, but I was hooked on this back then.

Ahh, I looooved Frogger! I think that was the first video game I ever played, on the ATARI at my grandmother's house when I was around 4! haha. I was never really into the arcade scene, but I do remember that my childhood dentist had this game I loved, I guess just called Kangaroo (I had to look it up because I didn't remember the name) and that was what I actually looked forward to when going to the dentist. That and Pac Man, which they had inside the offices for when you're done and waiting on your parents to come get you. Whenever I'm visiting back home, we pass the building it was in all the time (since my mom lives near it now) and it brings back so many memories!

Marvel vs Capcom 2 was a great one in the arcades. That along with the X-Men and Simpsons beat'em up games.

For the time, the graphics and gameplay were mind blowing.
The three others I loved were Bosconian, Punch-Out and Karate Champ.
It got to the point where I could play that game for about a half hour on one quarter, when I was playing against the AI. For some reason, I never did well in two player games.

At the dollar theater we used to have close by, growing up my family and I loved playing The Simpsons arcade game.
Nowadays, I go to a local barcade with my friends after trivia. But before that barcade we went to a different one where, for a time, I had the high score for Rally-X at that one. Loved that game. Like Pac-Man, but with cars.
I like Asteroids quite a bit and, aside from some of the other ones already mentioned, I also like Centipede and Area 51 was great playing it with my father back in the day.
So many good choices to choose from.
