I thought both were awesome, but I voted for The Grudge because it was well done, I could follow it, and I didn't have to read sub titles, lol.
Oh, and Sarah Michelle Gellar too.

Voted The Grudge as well. I can't get into Japanese movies with subtitles, or any movie with them actually.

Japanese horror is the best. I love it. So, definitely Ju-On, for me. More nuanced and a better scope of the damage caused by the curse.
Now that the new one is out with John Cho, this poll will need some updating too.
