As obvious as the CGI is in the movie, it doesn't take away from it. That's the issue I have. If it helps the movie and fits, I can get behind it. But look what Rick Baker did by hand. True. I still like costumes the most. xD

i watched a video on how they did the apes holy crap the stuff is intense but man the whole time they were talking about making the chimps look so real they kept bringing up avatar

The CGI bothered me in the beginning, but what's funny is the longer the movie goes, the better the CGI seems to get.
Overall, it was a good movie. Definitely worth a watch, though parts of it do drag.

I thought that orangutang looked pretty real. Well, maybe I did just cave in and accept it, but either way I found it enjoyable in the end. There are definitely worse ways to spend 2 hours.
