"The upcoming Blu-ray release of the film will come as a special collector’s edition 3-disc set which will feature two DVDs and one PAL DVD. The set will be limited to just 3,000 copies and it will come with a choice of three variant covers; the original theatrical artwork, the promotional press kit artwork, and an all-new commissioned retro-inspired piece by German horror director Andreas Marschall. Each variant will also limited and that will be to just 1,000 units. Blu-ray extras will feature an introduction by director James Signorelli, a new documentary called Too Macabre — The Making of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, a featurette on the film’s special effects team, three never-before-released behind-the-scenes clips, seven original storyboard sequences, trailers, the film’s script, and a stills gallery. The set will also feature three commentaries, the 2012 track featuring Peterson and costars Edie McClurg and John Paragon, a new commentary with James Signorelli (hosted by former Fangoria editor Tony Timpone), and one with elviramistressofthedark.com webmaster Patterson Lundquist. And lastly, the set will also come with a 60-page booklet with never-before-seen production stills and international artwork is also included in the package." April 24th.

Very nice! Sounds like they put a lot of love into the presentation. It really is a great film.

Fun, quirky flick not meant to be taken seriously. Very tongue in cheek.
I absolutely adore Elvira. She's a great character. Always fun to watch. Nice looking too. Hubba hubba.
I always like going to places that have her pinball machines.

The company that was supposed to release this kept delaying it, at first saying the quality of the steelbooks weren't up to par. After a long delay they wound up not releasing it at all, but they refunded everyone's money, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
