After that, I started on The Martian Tales Trilogy by Edgar Rice Burroughs. (one book that has all 3-in-one, so technically the first book, A Princess of Mars) Still on this one, though now I'm on the last book in the trilogy, Warlord of Mars.

Still reading the Madame Xanadu Vertigo series from 2009. On the final chapter, Extra-Sensory.
Written by Matt Wagner, it's a great series of stories with some great art by Amy Reeder and Michael WM Kaluta. Recently picked up the last 2 trade volumes to finally complete my collection and reread the series. Very much worth the purchace. It's a shame it didn't stick around longer like series like DMZ and 100 Bullets at the time, but it seems any DC related characters during that time series didn't really last unless related to the Sandman series.

Just finished Ziggy Marley's Marijuanaman by Jim Mahfood and Joe Casey.
This felt like the toked out spiritual brother to Bill Plimpton's I Married a Strange Person. Not bad for a 2 dollar purchase.

I'm a quarter way through an uncorrected proof copy of Bill Griffith's Nobody's Fool: The Life and Times of Schlitzie the Pinhead. It has a pleasant mix of classic Underground comix and Will Eisner like storytelling. Dunno about the regular hardcover book, but this print used to solicit sales is printed on rag and it fits the style and storytelling perfectly. A tad jumbled so far, but not enough to get you lost. So far, a dollar well spent. I miss scouring thrift stores for random comics I probably wouldn't read otherwise. Or cheapo comic sales at shops. So many unexpected gems. If anyone is interested in the book, it's pretty decently priced for a hardcover over at Amazon: www.amazon.com/Nobodys-Fool-Times-Schlitzie-Pinhead/dp/1419735012/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=schlitzie+the+pinhead&qid=1596228962&sprefix=schlitzie&sr=8-1

That sounds awesome man. I love the movie Freaks and always wondered about the back story on the characters, how they lived and what normal life was like for them. Not a bad price at all for a hardcover, might have to splurge on this one.

I started The Catastrophe Theory: The Dystoptimists about a month or so ago, on Google Books. It's a compilation book by 19 authors, with a different one writing each chapter. It is pretty interesting so far! (here's the listing on Goodreads if anyone's interested)

Just After Sunset by Stephen King. Trying to get back into reading some and I always do better with a short story than a novel. So, 10 or so stories in this one, then I think I'm going to re-read all of Clive Barker's Books of Blood, been 20 plus years since I've read them. Should be fun!

Finished Bottled by Chris Goosh. Okay story, great art.
Now I'm looking at a Will Eisner sketchbook. So much amazing work.
