Hey Smeets, we have the horror literature section which includes horror comics. Many horror comic posts have been made there already, even a sub-category dedicated to "The Horrors of it All" that posts old horror comics daily. You can post anything relating to horror comics in that section. horrorsonline.proboards.com/board/4/horror-literature

Can't go wrong with the old EC comics. I don't read much of the newer stuff, so not much help there. But, there are folks here that can help I'm sure.

Saw The GameThere's a lot of books out there right now that fit under that umbrella. You of course have The Walking Dead and Outcast by Robert Kirkman. Marvel Zombies if you like you horror with heroes. Plenty of Evil Dead 2/Army of Darkness comics out there. Here's a few I'd recommend: Wytches by Scott Snyder and Jock. Anything by Junji Ito (Uzumaki, Gyo, etc) Witch Doctor by Brandon Seifert and Lukas Ketner Black Hole by Charles Burns (it's more body horror with a slice of life story) There are comics like Tomb of Dracula and Man-Thing from the 70s that are very 70s horror. If you're looking more for story than scares and gore, these are great reads. Hell, they're just great reads anyway. Generic gore and horror can be found through damn near anything printed by Avatar, like Crossed and Night of the Living Dead Pointless and ish, but I won't judge anyone who reads it. Also, the Creepshow comics looks to be getting a reprint finally in May!

Those Night of the Living Dead comics are utter rubbish. Definitely stay away from those.

I usually buy mine at Amazon.com
If you want to test a few first, read some on viewcomic.com or readcomiconline.to. And if you like them, then buy them.

just searched clean room... looks fantastic. thanks for the tip. add that one to the list. not sure about wytches and i don't know why. you guys should check out - and then emily was gone I was hesitant to try out AND THEN EMILY WAS GONE at first because of the artwork. It had such a raw, sketchy style . . . but then I picked up a copy of the first issue and I was hooked! Great stuff -- very, very creepy. And the art only adds to that. Thanks for reminding me that I need to buy the rest of the series (I think I read up through #3 and then never made it back to my local comic shop).
