So, it broke and spiderwebbed from the right upper corner across the phone. YAY! It's not completely destroyed, probably be fine because it has a shield on it overall but the cracks are a distraction. I need a new case for it (which is why it fakking broke in the first place) at least and want to see if it is worth fixing the glass or just outright replacing.
I'd like a new phone in general, but that's too expensive and too much to transfer over all the data I have (2 games in particular I've invested over a year in each). But if I have to, I will. Just rather not. If I can get this replaced for under $50, I just might, and then just keep on trucking with the phone I have.
A phone that is a Samsung Galaxy Avant G386T. Yup, in tech years that's old. But it works for me. Well, not Internet Explorer, but overall it's a pretty good piece of machinery. Hate to dump it because of this (which I probably won't and just get a new case for it off Amazon to prevent this from getting worse).

Pretty sure they can replace the screen, but at some point it gets to is the phone worth paying that price, and is it a model no longer supported? I loved my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime, but after breaking it there just wasn't support for the model anymore. Had to move on. Good luck man, hope you can make it last as long as possible.

Here 13 bucks and How to-ish on youtube this is all you need well that and a blow dryer or heat gun. These older phones are so easy to replace parts on not like these uni-body new garbage devices they are coming out with. I do it all the time for people at work it just takes time and i mean lots of time if your first time because you dont want to break anything.

I afraid to even try that because of how heavy handed I can be. Seems to need a delicate touch and the broken phone shows I don't have that. At least, as of now, it's all under the film so it's not getting in the way. Looking into a new case for it. Something with a cover on it as well has caught my eye.

When you finally end up breaking down and getting a new phone, i suggest still going and buying the replacement screen since at that point you wont have the fear of destroying it and not having a phone. Then when you fix the old one you will have two things; 1 a back up phone in case anything happens to the new one, and 2 the confidence in knowing how simple it is to replace a mobile screeen. unless its a windows or apple product.

Not a bad idea, something to think about.
Wonder where my heat gun is...
