A family heads to an isolated hotel for the winter where an evil and spiritual presence influences the father into violence, while his psychic son sees horrific forebodings from the past and of the future.

I feel somewhat ashamed to say I have never seen this movie. Everyone tells me it's really good. I'll make sure to put it in my Netflix queue once I start it up again.

A must see man. I own it, let me know...I can hook you up if you want. I gotta see this. It's something I've been meaning to get to for the longest time, but somehow it always eluded me. Last I checked Netflix had it on instant queue, but unfortunately I had to cancel it until I find work again. Gotta find a way to see this and soon.

Just gotta be careful. I go the torrent route all the time, but only from Demonoid or The Pirate Bay, never had an issue. Usually its for old comics or movies I can't find anywhere else that are public domain now. But, there are some sketchy torrent sites out there that will load you up with viruses, or worse, install things on your PC that allow others to search your stuff.

Look for sites that show you number of seeders high is usually good and ones that show comments usually people will tell you if something is bad also sites such as pirate bay use a trusted key thats a big plus... i mean Torrents are WRONG!!

So besides the axe scene what was everyone most memorable part of this film?

My favorite part of the movie is when Jack is downstairs writing and Wendy brings him food starting the "you're distracting me" scene. Second favorite is when she has the bat. The faces he makes at her and how he talked to her just made it clear he was losing his mind.
Oh, the scene with Grady in the Gold Room is great too.

I remember my Dad had a black and white poster of Jack busting through the door on the inside of his closet. I opened it up and it scared the crap out of me. Can't wait to finally watch this later tonight!
