I went with the original too. At the time Jamie Lee Curtis was all about the horror, and it's just a good, cheesy at times, horror flick. Speaking of this movie, I have to get a copy of this just to have.

Original. Although, the sequel with Mary Lou is much better. Then again there is a great chase sequence in the original Prom Night.
I hardly remember the remake. I didn't hate it, but I'm sure I would if I did rewatch it now. Seems too bland. Too tepid. Generic af.
At least the original had Leslie Nielsen dancing with Jamie Lee Curtis as father-daughter.
