After the current season, Starz has announced it will cancel Ash vs. Evil Dead. Damn, loved that show. "With the season 3 finale of Ash vs Evil Dead approaching on April 29th, Starz has announced that they will not be moving forward with a fourth season of the series. Multiple sources, including The Hollywood Reporter, report the news of Ash vs Evil Dead's cancelation. The series premiered to nearly half a million viewers in 2015, but ratings in the third season have dipped down (often below 200,000 viewers per episode) despite continued critical acclaim and support from the diehard Evil Dead fanbase. The series gave viewers the chance to catch up with Bruce Campbell's iconic character Ash Williams decades after the events of Sam Raimi's Evil Dead films. Here's what Campbell had to say about the cancelation (via THR): "Ash vs. Evil Dead has been the ride of a lifetime. Ash Williams was the role of a lifetime. It was an honor to reunite with Evil Dead partners Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi to give our tireless fans another taste of the outrageous horror/comedy they demanded. I will always be grateful to Starz for the opportunity to revisit the franchise that launched our careers." dailydead.com/starz-cancels-ash-vs-evil-dead/This sucks, but I get it. Oh well, great while it lasted.

Really bummed about this, only two more episodes and that's it. Hoping someone else picks it up, but not holding my breath. Goodbye Ash, it was good while it lasted.

Yeah, probably so. Campbell liked it on Starz because it gave them free reign to do whatever they wanted, but a lot of people don't have Starz and weren't going to pay $9.99 a month for one show. I don't have Starz and the way I had to watch it didn't count towards it's ratings and I'm average Joe, so I'm sure many others were in the same position.
Oh well, it sucks. Could have been so much more. But, I have every episode so far on Plex, just need the finale tomorrow. Can re-watch whenever I want.

Same here man, I don't have Starz, and I barely watch TV as it is. At least I can watch it on Netflix, but I'd still like to have more to look forward to.

I just re-watched the first episode (the BEST episode, in my opinion) and the final one, and I felt sad. I'm really going to miss this show! It was funny and gory and just plain cool. I liked all the main characters (Ash, Brandy, Kelly and Pablo) and I'm actually going to miss them. I'll even miss Ruby (a little.)
I'm crossing my fingers that Netflix or some other network will pick it up but that doesn't look likely now, I guess.

It really sucks because it was a good show. But, Campbell only wanted 5 seasons to begin with, so he got close. But yeah, I was sad during the last episode too.

You can get it Scott, and one actually used from the show by Bruce Campbell himself!! Starz is auctioning off all kinds of stuff from the show and it's going right now for a cool $2,125.00
But, that price does include a stand for it too.

I remember watching episode 1 of this TV Show, ON Demand by using DirecTV (which I own in my home) and was very impressed with what the first episode of this TV Show. I was hoping this TV Show, would have been finished without being canceled, why cancel this over what got said? What about people who watched the show, other than by accessing STARZ to do so?

The way Bruce Campbell explained it while the show was still going but ratings were slipping was that if the views did't go through either the Starz channel itself or the Starz app, none of the views counted towards the ratings.
So, while there were a lot of people watching the show, the number of people "officially" watching the show weren't enough to convince Starz to sign it for a 4th season. I'll be honest, and I said it earlier in this thread, I loved the show. Loved it, one of my favorites. But, I wasn't paying $9.99 a month for one show as Starz doesn't offer anything else I would watch.
Sad to see it go, but at least I have every episode to watch whenever I want.

Oh so that's why, because of not counting as ratings, without the STARZ TV Network or App being watched through. There should've been a way to still save the show though. Thanks for the input.
