I used to think a word is just a word, and I still do sometimes. Though, the peculiar's of reality say words have power. How did those peculiar's of reality come to that conclusion? And is it valid? And what do they mean by power?
Power in this instance must mean influence, will to action, inspiration, and so on. I don’t think they mean the word itself is literally charged with power.
Ok, let’s say words have power. People use words. And words use people. And so people are inseparable from words. They go together. Words and people are a package deal. So when we put the two together we produce even more power. A thing that is a thing but also useful is called a person. By that rational we could also be called an engine, or a blazing fire, and so on. Words can just be words that just fill space for us to get the idea.
Words come from either our heart or our brain. Could this be the origins of any potential power? The conscience tends to be about fire, passion, right and wrong, poetry, philosophy, and anything that has to do with the heart. While the conscious tends to be about logic, numbers, being aware, concentration, math, and anything that has to do with the brain.
What about letters? Or numbers? They must have power too for they are a part of the conscience and conscious. What about images and memories? What about songs and dancing? What about dramatic lectures? Undoubtedly, these all have power, and they come from people.
It is probably better to say people have power. Or more technically, the heart and the brain has power. The heart and the brain are the two most important things.
But why are we not just hearts and brains? Why do we have arms for reaching and legs for walking? Why do we keep making more and more when all we need is just two things? This is why the Bible is full of parables. Because Life; love it, hate it, you still have to live it.
So do not worry about anything. Don’t get caught by all the fuss. Use your heart and use your brain and that is enough. For those are all you need. And if a word has any power it is only because you do. Let all the rest just be a quick parable.
