Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, a movie about a group of college kids who have seen entirely too many scary movies. The group of college kids cross paths with two "hillbillies" who they think are killers because of how they look. But they couldn't have been more wrong. Tucker and Dale are just two guys on vacation with plans to fix up Tucker's newly purchased vacation home when things take a strange turn. I watched the trailer for this just a couple of hours before starting to watch the actual movie. I had never heard of this movie before and didn't even bother to read any reviews about it before watching it. I watched the trailer, told myself it looked good and now I can honestly say this movie is definitely worth checking out. This is a very enjoyable horror comedy to watch. Most of the time I'm not a fan of movies like this but the two "hillbillies", Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine, make this movie fun to watch. It also didn't hurt that it had, Katrina Bowden from 30 Rock and Sex Drive (Ms. Tasty) as the lead actress. Really good acting from the three main stars in this one. There was a good mix of gore and comedy, I mean there is nothing quite like watching a stupid college kid jump head first into a wood chipper. You get your gore and comedy in the same scene, what more could you ask for? The death scenes make the college kids look like idiots but it was fun watching them kill themselves. I will recommend this movie to everyone. It might not be your cup of tea but it is still worth checking out at least once. I'll be buying it on DVD at some point.

Sounds like a winner to me! Now there is no excuse for me to leave it lying around unwatched.
Update:
Just finished watching it and I gotta say it was great! A wonderful mix of horror and comedy. This is one you should definitely check out and something that MUST be added to my collection.
I wish that the film had used more practical effects, but what was there was good seeing how the film most likely didn't have that much of a budget.

Movies like this make me glad to be a horror fan. Nice to see that new things can still be done and that there are people who know what makes this genre so fun.

Think my wife will like it? She groans every time I tell her I'm adding a horror movie, lol. BTW, still haven't received Bridesmaids. Probably not missing much, but that's odd. Usually NetFlix is like lightning. Can't report it until it's over two days late, which will be tomorrow. And, it will probably be in the mail when I leave for work.
