Has anyone here read the novel Pet Sematary? If so, what are your thoughts on the novel? What did you like/dislike about the novel?
I just finished reading the e-book version on my Kindle this morning. I enjoyed the book and I plan on reading more by Stephen King.

Yes, I love the book. And, I love the original movie, but the book was way better to me. I won't even go into the remake. But, yeah. Love the book, loved most of the characters and it was when Stephen King was at the top of his game. The way he got you invested in everyone, the heart break and despair Louis felt really came through, plus it was just plain scary. One of my favorite King books, glad you enjoyed it. I think it's a book every horror fan should read at least once.

I haven't watched either movie because I've been waiting until I've finished reading the book first. I think I'll sit down to watch both movies whenever I have some free time on a day off. I can probably knock them both out in a day.
I liked the book for that same reason. Stephen King did a good job of getting you invested in the characters and it helped to draw you in.

Pet Sematary was perfect, one of my favorite books from Stephen King (and one of the top ten). I really enjoyed that one. The original movie was quite awesome, I love it. Not like the 2019 version, that remake was horrible. They shouldn't had touched a classic that was already terrific. So yeah the book was awesome.
