The re-make was just OK to me, Didn't hate it or love it. The original is awesome, though.

Orig. Hilton is an Ass, can't act and the entire film was a worthless pile a crap! The only decent part of the remake is Hilton dies.

I enjoy a worthless pile of crap, from time to time, lol. Don't have to think, just watch and veg. But the remake wasn't close to the original in any aspect really.
And, yeah. Paris Hilton dying was the highlight of the remake for me.

Even her death didn't make it enjoyable. I feel especially stupid for seeing it in a theater.

There is only one thing that needs to be said. Vincent Price.

There is only one thing that needs to be said. Vincent Price. Indeed.

Between these two, definitely the '53 version. Price is always great fun. He's hardly ever not delightful to watch. Very much loves to chew the scenery. Begs for camp. Got to love that.
There are other versions of this story. I haven't watched every one, but it would be nice to vote on things like Mystery of the Wax Museum and The Wax Mask in this poll as well. Just a thought.
