I didn't really care much for the first one but the sequel looks good. I will definitely watch that one.

I loved the first one. Don't think it needed a sequel but I'm still excited to see this.

Trailer looks good, but as with a lot of horror movies, I'm just afraid most of the best parts were in it. I'll still see it, especially since Krasinski directed and took part in writing again.

I'm probably going to see this, but I'm a little hesitant. I liked the first one so much that I was perfectly fine just leaving it there. I do not know how in the hell they can keep a baby quiet, but I guess they showed a bit of that in the trailer with the baby inside the bag with an oxygen mask. Still . . . Big reason why AMC messed up The Walking Dead when it came to Judy at least.
Like I said though, I'm probably going to see this. I love Emily Blunt, and Millicent Simmonds is a fine actor. So is Cillian Murphy.

Hopefully since the same people are involved, it'll turn out well.

The release date for this has been removed and no new release date has been set.
Here's what Paramount said about the movies release...
“After much consideration, and in light of the ongoing and developing situation concerning coronavirus and restrictions on global travel and public gatherings, Paramount Pictures will be moving the worldwide release of A Quiet Place Part II. We believe in and support the theatrical experience, and we look forward to bringing this film to audiences this year once we have a better understanding of the impact of this pandemic on the global theatrical marketplace.”
It's expected that theaters in parts of the US will start temporarily closing due to the virus and other movies with upcoming release dates are expected to be affected as well.

Yeah, as much as I want to see a lot of the films in theater right now I'm skipping going to the theater at the moment. Hurts, but can't be too safe right now.

Crazy ish going on. I know it's serious but the media isn't helping matters. My wife said all the hand sanitizer and soap was gone at the grocery story today and people were buying cartfuls of toilet paper and water.
Be smart, wash your hands, and if you don't feel well, stay home.

Finally some news...
"Actor-director John Krasinski took to Twitter to confirm that Paramount Pictures has officially changed the release date for their long-delayed horror sequel A Quiet Place Part II. Originally scheduled for a September 17, 2021 release, the Emily Blunt-led sequel will now hit the theaters several months earlier on May 28, just in time for Memorial Day weekend. It was also previously confirmed that the sequel will officially be available for streaming on Paramount+ for 45 days after its theatrical release."
I'm still looking forward to this one, so I'm glad they moved the date up. Just hope it's good.

I'm happy to say that this was just as good as the first movie, a nearly perfect continuation.
Could easily put both films together and get a 3 hour long horror epic. This is going to the top of the list because it hit all the buttons for me.
Millicent Simmonds is a star in the making. This was her and Cillian Murphy's movie.
