This show is based on a comic book series written by Joe Hill and illustrated by Gabriel Rodriguez (Joe Hill is the son of author Stephen King, by the way). I've read the entire comic book series a couple of years ago and I enjoyed it. It's the first thing I read by Joe Hill and what got me interested in the rest of his literature. I plan on watching this when it starts airing and I can't wait!

I've read Hill's book of short stories and that was pretty good and my wife read Heart Shaped Box and Horns by him and she liked those too. I've never read the comic series, I know NDX did and said it ended kind of weak. I don't have Netflix and this probably isn't my kind of show anyway, but I hope you enjoy it.

Yeah, I felt Hill built up a story he couldn't really properly end it. For me it was just a letdown. I hate when stories have such a great run and then just fall flat to complete it.
Like Heroes season 1. Or the ending to Y The Last Man (still worth reading, though).
