"BEHOLD, THE POWER OF MYBONER, MY MIGHTY HAMMER!"
Yeah, that works too well.

Since this thread contains the 2 characters, I just want to say, saw Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger on Blu-Ray just this afternoon, and it was an amazing site to see. I can't get over how entertaining a series of movies Marvel has produced since announcing they were making their own films. It's got me pumped that in 6 months this gem will be dropping, as well as a third Iron Man and a second Thor. I can only hope a second Cap drops, because that is easily the best cape comic adaption I have ever seen. No other cape adaptions compare in the end.
Also, I need to mention this. Tommy Lee Jones in HD is the scariest thing I've seen since... Gary Busey.

Glad you're liking the TV. Tommy Lee Jones is pretty haggard looking anymore. Haven't seen him in HD since No Country For Old Men, but even then the crevices were in vivid clarity.

Yeah, the TruMotion tech in the TV wasn't so overbearing in this case. I'll see either later or tomorrow if it's as good on other dvds as it is here.
Jones looked like hell, but he had some of the best lines in the film. He brought the right level of comedy and seriousness into the film.

How's football look? I have a 40" plasma, and I love it. Only thing I move on Sunday is the finger to hit back to the last game. Meh, sometimes I'll cut the grass. But that's pushing it.

I was actually dissapointed with Thor. To me the best thing about that movie was Loki, which is a good since he appears to be the only villain The Avengers.
If I ranked the movies in this series it would be like this.....
Iron Man Captain America Iron Man 2 Hulk and a far last place Thor
I am very excited for this to come out though.

Your Thor hatred angers me.

I wouldn't say I hate it. I was just dissapointed in it, and think the other 4 movies are much better. All the FX and stuff like that were top notch. The story was pretty good. Just wasn't much of a fan of Captain Kirk's Dad's acting. I think that's what pretty much turned me off on it. My favorite thing he did was when they were in that little diner and Thor drank a cup of coffee, then threw the glass down to the floor asking for more. Had me cracking up.
I've watched it a couple times, maybe I need to watch it again...

I just recently watched it, and greatly enjoyed it. Granted, Cap is the best with Iron Man a close second.
Avengers better not screw up after all this buildup.

It is an amazing film, isn't it? One of the best experiences I've had in a movie theater. And the Red Skull in HD was... damn, I love it.
