"A sadistic mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in SPIRAL, the terrifying new chapter from the book of SAW. Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner (Max Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.
SPIRAL stars Chris Rock, Max Minghella, Marisol Nichols, and Samuel L. Jackson, and is produced by the original SAW team of Mark Burg and Oren Koules. The film is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and written by Josh Stolberg & Pete Goldfinger."
May 15th.

Is it me or are trailers getting more and more vulgar. Just in general?
The fact that they are still drawing blood from the Saw franchise is impressive. What was the last thing Chris Rock even did, man?

Yes Scott, I thought the same thing. Sam Jackson dropping the F bomb in a trailer. What the frack?

What was the last thing Chris Rock even did, man? I want to say Top Five which he wrote and directed as well. Great movie. Funny stuff.
EDIT: I just saw on IMDb he was in The Week Of with Adam Sandler on Netflix, which was okay, and the Eddie Murphy movie Dolemite Is My Name, which was better. I did see he was in the upcoming season of Fargo which looks good.

I mean, I've seen all the others, so I'll see this one too. That's pretty much how I am unless a film is a complete abomination

Has vibes of the first, which I really do still like. So I'll give this a go.

Hasn't been a lot of news on this one, but it's being widely reported that this will debut in theaters this May 21st. I guess that could change. Some people are stoked about it, others are wondering why they didn't just release the movie on VOD and take advantage of the folks being home.
Anyway, the new date is set. I don't know if I'll see it or not, if I do it won't be at the theater. I hope it's good though, it's a fun franchise.
