Yeah, that scene looked awful. I dunno man, I'm just completely over this show at this point.

Happens, a lot of friends at work are done too. I'm still digging it, we'll see what next season brings.

As long as you're enjoying it, that's cool. For me, it's just been falling off hard. Too much stalling filler episodes, and making characters do stupid things out of plot convenience. Only thing keeping me interested was Negan, but at this point it's not enough anymore.

Season finale was lame. There was no need to drag it out to 90 minutes. Too much talking leading to another overhyped, underwhelming action sequence that was mediocre at best. I have to agree, I felt it was sloppy and gratuitous. I expected better.

Really? Other then the CGI stuff, I thought it was a great episode that set the beginning of season 8 up perfectly. Oh well, everyone has their opinion.

Kirkland and AMC were looking for 10 seasons, and season 8 is coming. Maybe some different stuff and working towards wrapping it up. At some point a government has to start again and secure locations. Start weeding out the really bad folks who are so much worse than the zombies at this point. I don't know, but I've come this far. I'm going all the way!

I wonder if it'll go that far. Haven't the ratings been steadily falling throughout this season? Not that I want anyone out of work or anything, but it definitely seems like interest is dwindling.

I think a lot of folks that started watching at the beginning have dropped off, but I think new fans have come on, so I don't actually know how many are actually watching now. I have read that ratings had dropped some, but don't know if it's enough to discount a season 9 or 10 at this point. But, again, I don't know the actual numbers.

i can't watch another zombie film/show since i saw Dawn of the Dead years ago. nothing compares to it. i've seen night, dawn, and day, hundreds of times. it's the only zombieness i need. there's something special about Romero and his zombies in particular. i'm gonna do an epic review on it one of these days.

It doesn't help that 99% of zombie movies suck. Even Romero couldn't make a good one after Land of the Dead.

They are not zombies, they are walkers.

Trailer for season 8...
Man, I'm gonna be really pissed if Rick wakes up from a coma and the whole thing was a dream.

Thought the return episode was pretty good. I now understand that Rick is dreaming and is older, but why the wig and makeup and all? Michonne and Carl looked pretty much the same, Judith had aged some. So why make Rick look so old with a cane and all?
Of course, it's his dream so who knows? Overall I liked the episode. So many chances to just take Negan out and they don't do it. Frustrates me!
