Lets start a horror story!
Post one or two sentences, or a whole paragraph if you like. You can add a character or take the voice of the character that was last speaking. No rules, just keep it going!
I lay there in the dark, my head resting comfortably on my pillow as sweet dreams danced in my head...resting so peacefully. Suddenly, a shrill scream woke me from my blissful sleep. I opened my eyes terrified of what I might see, but it was pitch dark so I could see nothing. In the darkness of my bedroom I could hear heavy raspy breathing, and the sound of claws dragging on the floor...or was it a knife? Frozen in fear I gasped for air and then...
"By day I sleep in the sand. By night I am on the wing as if I could truly fly. I leave no name, I leave no footprints. I want to go down to the very tip of Africa. I will be a goddess to those I slay" A. R.

A storm was brewing that night. The air crackled with energy. The young woman was on her knees in her room in the center of a ritualistic circle on the floor. Candle light flooded the area as the electricity went out. The immature witch was chanting a spell to bring her boyfriend back from the grave.
It wasn’t long before her bedroom door slowly creaked open from its own accord. Lightning flashed and a silhouette of her boyfriend stood in the doorway. Stunned and happy she rushed into her boyfriends’ arms. He held her tightly...and tighter...tighter….she screamed as she was crushed in his embrace.
The zombified boyfriend sluggishly opened his arms and released the dead woman. He lumbered down the hallway. The bone sticking out from the bottom of his foot sounded like a knife scraping the floor.
He then heard a woman's loud gasp coming from a room and stopped at the door…..
...and that's when I woke up again. This goes on all night. Ever since I inherited my great uncle's house I've been having these...what did you call them Doctor, oh yeah 'night terrors.' The medication you prescribed for me helps me sleep, but it doesn't do anything to stop these horrible dreams. I'm starting to feel like I'm losing my mind.
