Like many Stephen King fans I have to admit I was disappointed at how the adaptation of this story was handled in the 90's miniseries. I did, however, enjoy rewatching it recently after so many years.
I guess I liked it more now that I wasn't let down by a disappointing reveal of the long awaited depiction of the dreaded Langoliers. What we imagine in our minds reading scary stories and novels usually surpasses what Hollywood depicts in their big screen adaptations, but the CGI representation of the Langoliers in this miseries was a real let down when first viewed.

I was let down the first time I saw them because of the graphics too. I don't know what I was expecting in 1995, but this wasn't it, lol. I did like the miniseries overall, thought the cast was pretty solid and I'm a big fan of David Morse, so it was nice to see him in it. I saw it again not too long ago, a couple of years maybe, and I still liked it too. It would be interesting to see it made today, just to see what they'd do with it graphics wise.

I was thinking the same thing endo. If there was ever a King story that could benefit from a remake this is it.

Those killer CGI meatballs are so hilariously bad.
