So, I finally got to see this tonight, and for the first 45 minutes I was just not feeling it. A lot was being said but nothing was being done, not enough at least. It felt slow and plodding, but then the last near hour was great storytelling, and it really picked up in the right way. I love the graphics of this, really inspiring, and I can't wait to give this another viewing one day. Might give this a blu-ray treatment since I enjoyed this so much.

We felt the same way man. Slow at first, then the second half kinda took off. Definitely a classic and one I'd like to own one day too.

I'm glad it picked up. I hate getting hyped for a film and then have it fall flat. This was heading that way the first half.

The first time I watched it I turned it off, thought it stunk and was going to be that way the entire movie. Glad I gave it a second watch. Of course, I've watched it several times now. Good movie.

This is such a great cerebral movie. Not action packed, but if you stick with it you'll be rewarded.
Got to love that Robby the Robot.
