This is an Australian horror film that is said to be based on real events. It covers a group of teens on a rural road trip, only to have their car break down with no service available anywhere, except for one man who lives along out in that rural deserted area. He begins fixing their car, then parties with them around a campfire, seeming odd but like an overall nice and dependable person. When the teens wake up, they are all bound, gagged, and tied up as the older man fixing their car turns out to be a serial killer. They then try to escape their captive spots, then find the others before getting out of there. Their captor turns out to be very smart and very slick, making it very difficult to actually escape. Overall, this is very well done with a lot of good drama and dialogue, with the characters brought out very well. It is also very intense with a lot of great action, the gore looking real, etc. I will not get into details on the ending, but I will say that it does a good job at leaving the audience hanging and wondering if there really is such a guy out there in Wolf Creek, Australia. This one should appeal to a variety of those into "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," "Pieces," "The Blair Witch Project," and similar films to those.

I like this movie, seen it a few times. Just posted the movie not too long ago on here. Maybe I'll watch it again for the 31 Nights of Halloween.
